About Club Penguin:
Club Penguin is an MMORPG involving a virtual world containing a range of online games and activities, developed by Club Penguin Entertainment (formerly New Horizon Interactive). Using cartoon penguins as avatars, players waddle around, chat, play mini games and participate in other activities with one another in a snow-covered virtual world.
Things To Do:
Like it's motto, you waddle around in the island of Club Penguin. Some places you go into are the Plaza, the Cove and the Beach. You also make friends and chat with other penguins. And what`s fun is that every one month a party will come like the Fall Fair and Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt.
Clothes, Pins and Others:
You can also dress up your penguin with clothes. With them, you can dress up your penguin from it`s head to feet. Clothes can be bought on monthly catalogs or can be taken free on parties. And it`s not only clothes, there are also shoes, accessories and hand-held items. Also included are pins and backgrounds.
Membership:
Of course not everything in Club Penguin are free. There are memberships. If you are a member, you can buy clothes from catalogs, decorate your igloo, adopt pets called Puffles and enter some places in parties which can only be accessed by membership-people.
What`s Great About Club Penguin:
Not only it is fun and free, Club Penguin also helps needy kids. Every year, a thing called Coins for change is held in Club Penguin. During Coins for Change, Club Penguin helps kids who are sick, have been hurt by war, poor and can`t go to school and without parents. All penguins then donate coins for them and earn millions.
